Community Curators of Specialty Coffee

The concept of Seabird came over time.

Brian, the owner, spent the last seven years as a stay at home dad. Whether the kids were awake or quietly snoozing, his mornings were always spent with a cup of coffee in hand gazing out at the horizon. As the sun came up the gulls would fly above the house and his imagination would soar with them as to what was possible for his growing family. This is where Seabird began.

He started by finding the perfect spot perched in downtown Cohasset, MA and began assembling a team of people with the same love for high quality coffee and the passion to connect with the community.

Resident Roaster

Why a resident roaster?

He decided that each month, a new Resident Roaster would be showcased for two reasons:

To keep the teams ever growing curiosity alive and to bring the latest coffee happenings into the store.

Together, the team curates a lineup of delicious coffees to highlight their uniquestyle. We connect New England's artisanal roasters, bakers and purveyors to thecoastal communities south of Boston. And in the process, we've created a contagious spirit and style that is inclusive and fun.

We have been open a little over a year and though it seems the time went by so quickly, it also feels like we've been here all along. Nestled into the hillside beneath the church sipping away with family and friends.

Current Roaster

We work with local roasters and purveyors to provide you with the best possible product. Starting your morning with fresh, high-quality coffee and finely crafted pastries will set the tone for the rest of your day.
